Yeah, i surf too many porn sites.. I think there would be some guy sitting at M$ laughing and pointing saying "dude, this DTN guy's got some kind of fetish with hot chicks" then the other guy next to him would be like "yeah, and cars". Then they'd search my HD and find my evil plot to destroy the world and I'd be screwed.
I think I rather like my privacy... Not to mention, last time I tried a copy of Vista, it ended up with me uninstalling it because my TV does not work with vista.

I really like Vista. I have Home Premium on my desktop and laptop, as well as my girlfriends laptop.
I'm really impressed with it. Haven't ran into any snags except a bit of trouble when I first set up my dual monitors with it.
This is the site if you want to get the free MS offer. Only available to you American schmucks. wink1.gif

I think I'll at least wait until it's more supported. I run dual monitors, one is my computer from which I'm typing and the other is my 27" wide screen TV. I couldn't immagine going through that fiasco of trying to figure out why my TV isn't working again. It turned out the drivers weren't made.

The only trouble I have with my dual monitors is that when I run some (maybe 25%) of full screen apps (games) my mouse doesn't stay locked in that one screen. I can't play Quake 4, for instance, because if I try to turn around and shoot behind me, it crashes to dekstop because I inadvertantly clicked "outside" of the game window, on the desktop in my second monitor.
To play those few games I have to disable the second monitor, which is really only about 5 clicks, so it's not that big of a deal for me.

I have used vista very lightly in the past few weeks, and so far from what I've seen, it is nothing more than XP with a facelift. And a bigger memory hog. Vista users, correct me if I'm wrong...?
I would not run Vista unless I had at least 2GB of RAM, and a new Core 2 Duo, probably a Santa Rosa.

This really sucks but, I just emailed Microsoft and this is the response I got.
