From my grandparents on back as far as we can trace, my family has all been medical professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists) or farmers (potato, dairy, wine).

When I get rid of a car I still keep the service manuals even if I hated the car and would never buy another one.

It was 100+ degrees at Craters of the Moon in Idaho and the weather was hot and sunny when my younger brother and I exited a cave but a storm hit while we were walking to the next one and it was the worst storm I have ever experienced. It started raining and the wind picked up to something well over 70mph because I've been out in 70mph wind before and this was a lot faster. When he jumped across a gap in the lava sheet my brother flew up like a kite and if I would have let go of him he would have flown off. Big park garbage cans were flying away and not touching the ground again at least until they were out of sight.
