Faithless - Insomnia ROCKS the house...

Aww man, visionz you have brought me back to "the scene". I think being away from Seattle for so long has done damage to the night club patrick inside of me. haha...

I have been trying to find a damn remix of O'Fortuna for the longest time, besides that damn annoying versin of it by DJ Irene. It's cool at the beginning but it gets so annoying...

Thanks visionz, you da man.

..and God is a DJ.

dammit, just realized that Apotheosis-O'Fortuna is the same damn annoying song. my search continues...

Concord Dawn did a Matrix track or three, no?...

Safri Duo is a great drum band, I like most of their stuff.

I listen to this stuff pretty much only when Im on the road.. Its such good driving music.. For regular listening at home, Im more a fan of rock (of all kinds except the random screaming kind), and Jazz (Jazz is good for driving at night too.. After a long day at work, some nice Miles Davis is great)

By the way, if you're looking for songs that sound similar to one you like, try http://www.pandora.com

Well I definatly have a taste for electronic music, been to DEMF every year since 2k. I dig alota the Detroit artist, DJ Godfather, Juan Atkins, Carl Cox, Kevin Saunderson. I'm also heavily into trance like Analouge Pussy, Dark Nebula, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, SUN Project, Rank 1. If I had to make some recomendations it would have to be the CD 8th sphere by Dark Nebula, or Trance & Roll by Analouge Pussy. I also second www.pandora.com. I was completly blown away by their extensive knowledge of underground hip-hop, and lesser known acts all together.

Kyau vs. Albert just came out with a very nice follow up album. I just ordered mine on amazon.com. They pulled off another 2-CD. I can't wait to get mine in the mail! It'll sound excellent in the car!

Kyau & Albert - 7Skies
Kyau & Albert - Run
Kyau & Albert - Riding on a Star
Kyau & Albert - Kiksu

Bloom06 is also coming out with another album. Planet Funk is also making a new album. So many goodies!

DJ Inphinity started me off... My friends brother burned me a copy of Energy Volume 2.5 and it was all history...

As for now, I just got DJ Marski Ski mix 40 for my bday which is pretty good.
DJ Skeptyk is probably my favorite, but Magix, Rozz, Caffeine, quick mixin nick, chris, all good stuff. I've come to the conclusion though that every area has their own DJ's and they stick to it. So chicagoland is this lineup..

DJ Inphinity
DJ Rozz
DJ Marski
DJ Skeptyk
DJ Magix
Quick Mixin' Nick
DJ Chris B
DJ Billy the Kid
DJ Static

All good stuff
