Just slowly been listening to techno song now and than but I really don't know any by name.
As of now I only like techno songs with lyrics.
Whats your couple fav techno songs? They can't be over 10 min long lol, must have lyrics, and can also be another song remixed into a techno.
Let the post whoring begin! fing02.gif

Depends on the type of Techno. I personally hate Vocal techno. My favorite is Goa type Trance. Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, electric Universe.

One of my favorite songs now is actually 37 min long lol. But its a lot of songs incorporated into one. I like artists like robert miles, dj sammy, and some others I cant think of right now. A song doesnt have to have lyrics for me, it can just be music.
Edit: woops I see the song cant be over 10 min lol oh well. tongue.gif

oh jebus..
BT (that's a DJ's name) did SmartBomb, Paris, Knowledge of Self, etc.
DJ Tiesto
Paul Oakenfold
DJ Irene (some of her stuff is, "eh..." unless you are on e-baum or something lmao.gif )
Deepsky
Lagoona
Foggy
Bombfunk MC - Freestyler (not techno, but a good song).
ATB (sleepy trance stuff)
Benni Benassi (remember that song "Satisfaction" ?? haha, well he has other GOOD songs)
The Chemical Brothers, now The Crystal Method
Daft Punk (some crazy guitar work, no keyboards)
Kaskade
Miguel Migs
Plummet - Damaged
The Polyester Embassy
Rinôçérôse
...the list goes on
I'm starting to get sick of "techno" on my long drives. Having played drums and a little bit of guitar I listen to music differently and am starting to appreciate the OLD, (sometimes REALLY old) music of the 70's/80's/90's more technical stuff like
ACDC
Guns and Roses
The Eagles - Hotel California (OMFG...)
Ted Nuggent
Pink Floyd
Lynard Skynard
ZZ Tops
In Flames
yea, it's official. I was born 6 years late. lmao.gif

Another name to add to the list is Iann Vahn Dal. Look for Castles in the Sky or Will I? Two great songs. I know about them because I'm a big DDR fiend cool.gif

Patreezy about said it, been techno listener since around '91 and my collection and the list GOES ON FOREVER! Rap actually got me into it I think. I like the beats but the lyrics suck. So I got into drum and bass and from there is was too one dimensional so I got into trance and added sound effects, ethereal etc. No lyrics are better but I like both. I think it's funny Busta rhymes sampled a techno song for his latest hit and made it sound horrible and Cuban/Puorto rican artists have really just capitalized on drum and bass styles and put party lyrics over them like Pitbull and Daddy Yankee. Techno has it's place in influence.
I'm also a drummer and guitarist so I love rock music too.
