So I'm just curious to see how many people on this forum smoke Hookah. Seeing as how it seems to be a growing trend among the younger crowd. To go along with forum rules by me saying "smoking hookah" i mean using it to smoke Shisha (Flavored Tobacco). I have been smoking it for about a year know and find it rather exciting. Its really cool to try all the different flavors of smoke that are out there, not to mention that hookahs in themselves are a pretty thing to look at.

 

For clarification, you're referring to recreational smoking of flavored tobacco, like seen at many thai, indian, or trendy cafes, right?

I used to smoke cigarettes... a long time ago (eh, 10 years ago? wow). I don't now, I don't smoke anything now. I don't see the point in smoking multiple flavors, I just don't see it tasting very good.

So, as a 25 year old, I may not be considered in the young crowd anymore, but no, I don't smoke water bongs.

Yup thats exactly what i mean majik. i think 25 still counts as the youngish crowd. Im 22 so not to far behind you. As for the smoke not being very good you would be very surprised actually at many flavors they can be quite delicious.

 

This is actually nothing like smoking, the smoke you inhale is very nice and very pleasant to breathe out, even through your nose. And it leaves a nice taste/smell depending on the flavor. A lot of non-smokers enjoy it once in a while, you should try it. And I should buy one fing02.gif

 

I've smoked it a couple times a few years ago. It was pretty cool, but if I smoked it for too long I just got nauseous for some reason. It happened mostly with the apple flavored stuff.

There's some hookah places down here that seem cool but I haven't really had the urge to check it out.

 

If I deploy again I may be able to send some back to those who want them. Here are some for sale at the bazaar somewhere in Afghanistan.

 

I've never done it but I have a lot of friends that have and smoke hookahs.

 

Is that what you kids are calling them these days? We used to call those bongs. And we used them for strictly tobacco use only.

 

i have 2 hookahs. no weed ever. i also have a friend who makes his own tobacco. all my friends will come over, we drink, and smoke the hookah.

Javageek i would love to get a few hookahs from you if you end up going back to Afghanistan. Just let me know if you do. Hookah can defiantly be a good time with freinds always good to lay back and relax.
