heh.. my old Hyundai Excel with the Mitsubishi engine... I got almost 160,000 out of that car before I traded it in on the Tib. Now there was a disposable car that was not supposed to reach the 100k mark

well, the engine in my old excel was on it's way to an old age death. Even replacing the valve seals could not stop that engine from smoking.. it still ran great though.

the 1.8 in my red tib died cause the dealer lied. They told me they did the coolant pump when they did the timing belt. 35k later it seized on the highway and out went all my coolant. oops.

I retired the Supra at 198k after the radiator cracked and a compression check had Cylidner One compressing at 25 psi

A collector from Illinois came and picked it up but trashed it after the radiator blew on him just over the WI / IL border

That was a great car

The Tibby has 65k on it, bought it with 59k on it in Dec 06

Be advised, my engine did not die of old age. It died due to a faulty timing belt. I have pictures of where it abnormally split about the threads like it wasn't woven correctly or something. The engine was in fine condition (just a little valve tick from racing too much).
