what is rdtiburon what do you tell them?

i say its my online car club

its just hard tryin to explain what a forum is..lol

 

tiburon forum - everyone that i talk to about it knows what a forum is or at least has a pretty good idea.

question #2 whats rd? - chassis code or the body style

 

most of the people that ask that i work with(at nissan) and i say its the model style kind of like how nissan has the b15 and the s14 and such

 

i usually say its a website for tiburons, and the RD is the chassis code for the 97-2001 ones.

but i'm not asked much at all, even though its plastered all over my car. and my hat. and my shirts. haha

 

I always say Online Car Club.

I've met about 12 folks ever, in my life, that know what a online forum is.

 

^That's what I do, I think I've got a couple of people to join (Elantra owners) but I don't think they ever post.

Everyone I talk to knows what a forum is...weird.

I usually just say a tiburon website.

 

^^thats what i'm thinking zoned, guess these old farts have old friends that aren't up on computer lingo... oh well, my dad's 52 and he knows what a forum is. In fact he talked to me the other day about starting a site up of his own for oil/gas people when he retires.

really there is only probably a handful of people who know i'm a member here. no one i know personally is a member. When i wear my rdt shirt no one has ever asked what it was. I do generally hang out with higher than average computer adapt people though. simply because of my work. my wife had no idea what a forum was when we first met, now she's addicted to blogging.

 

I tell that it's car forum and rd is code for the Tiburons.
