I'll top you all... My girlffriend and I are sitting on the porch one day. A car drives by going probably 30ish. She goes, look Adam! It's a tib!
.....................................That's a sunfire baby.....
I wanted to cry
Although what I get most often is. "Is that a V6 in there?" Or even better yet "Why didn't you get the V6? The V4 is slow...."

I love that. I've heard the exact same thing.
"Why didn't you get the V6?"
"No, it's not a V6, it's an I4."
"What's an I4?"
"...do you even know what a V6 is?"
Blizz, my girlfriend used to be like that, but i've got her trained up now. She's even calling them RD's and GK's now, instead of 'blue tiburon.' lmao.gif I could have bought her an RD a month ago, but the price was too much. 02.gif I'd love to see his and hers in the driverway. laugh.gif
Back OT: The acura integra one is what I have heard the most often. But I live in a smaller city with a hyundai dealership, so almost everyone here knows what a Tiburon looks like these days.

I haven't really gotten any comments in a while other than nice tib or is that really turbo'd? Seems like people are finally realizing it's not a honda and like it.
My Brother was a senior this last year and kids at his school used to talk about my car in class. lol, the best part was he went up to them and said "what? that tiburon sucks" and kids that I don't even know started defending my car. Then of course he let them know he agrees that it's awesome and that he's spent the greater part of his life working on it.

That's a good one. I always say the only reason they put the V6 in the car is because they added 600 lbs. But they only added 30 HP. It's the truth.

I mostly get "what is it?"
Only time i had somebody mistake it for something else was sorta funny. I parked next to an Elise (didnt know what they were at this point) and had been checking it out, the owner came up and we talked about our cars for a bit before i finally got him to say what his car was withought actualy asking lol. Anyway right before we stoped talking he asked where id gotten the body parts for my Integra. He wanted a set for his daughters car. He was rather surprised when i told him it was a hyundai....it also made me feel better about not knowing what his car was.

I also live in a smaller town (35000 ppl or so) with a hyundai dealership so most people know what they are now. it kinda pissed me off when the dealership came in though because I was one of 2 tib's in town and now there's a bunch. I think I'm gonna get a Supra. That way I can go fast AND be unique-ish.
