he definatly did not make friends that night... The broken driveshaft or more than likely, a blown CV joint is a good point.. that would make the car uncontrollable.. especially if he was running an LSD.

I think he just froze. I nailed a large burnout in a F-150 Lightning. The rear-end started to kick out sideways and I started losing control. I froze and while frozen I plowed over a stop sign and hit a tree with the mirror (it just folded back and got a little brown mark on it) and ended up in some persons yard (I almost hit their house.)

That's my theory.

BTW......I was 17 and dumb when I did this with the Lightning. Since then I've learned how to ride out a burnie!

If that was me that did that, I would have faked like I passed out or something. That way you get the sympathy thing, and you can say it was a medical condition that caused the accident. lol.gif

that could be it too.. nothing like a little panic to make the whole world come to a halt. Scariest moment I ever had with an out of control vehichle was a 26 foot box truck on a patch of black ice.. I was accelerating from a light, turning left when the rear broke loose and started to slide... it was a two lane turn too... I did manage to collect it back.. but I did notice that there was NOBODY around me when I did.

LOL
i watched it a few times now and the guy is just a moron, ive driven my brothers mr2 gt-tbar and the first time i drove it i did a similar thing around a wet roundabout and floored it but instead of braking i just accelerated and corrected and was fine, i guess he could just not drive at all, i think the comment in the clip of "we,ve just got the fu^%ing car fixed u a$$" summed it all up
