Go on Ebay and see if you can find any being auctioned. That way you'll have a good idea for an asking price.

4 months = 4 years in computer years. That stuffs outdated now. I doubt you could get $1500 for it. Not counting the video card and tv card, the desktop I bought for my wife has the same specs and I bought it off the shelf new for $500. Ebay is probably the best way to go to find a good asking price.

i did and now im asking what YOU guys think...not to refer me to ebay :-P. lol.

plus i couldnt find a system like mine. the parts are pretty far off, even the closest i found.

ok, to post above me.... computers are NOT outdated as fast as you think.. only they high end. if you go for the best you lose the best about 5 months later. but for most computers these specs are WAY above average.

example.... dell sells their E510s for 1090, with like 3/4ths the specs....... one the far left side.... http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/f...s=19&l=en&s=dhs

EDIT: i think i found something similar.... no os, no monitor, no keyboard, no wireless, no tv capture, 1/2 the hd space, and no speakers.. it does however have a slightly better cpu, and a slightly better graphics card. those are the only things......

Sorry Tibby, I read too much MaximumPC! It depends on what you use it for. Only websurfing, I have a 300mhz gateway that my kid uses that almost as old as him. Video editing, not so long. Games or game server, even less time. Mutiple functions, not long at all. I would pay around a grand for that system. Your only saving grace is tons of storage, but that's dirt cheap nowadays. I used to build computers. High end mostly. And I gave it up because it was too hard to make people understand that, for the money, what I was giving them was something that was going to last them a long time and was going to be upgradeable. Now computers are basically disposable. Pay cheap now, if it breaks just replace it.

I read your edit. I would rate that computer right up there with the turbonator, as far as a quality product. You will find someone who will pay what you're looking for. It just won't be someone who knows alot about computers. I could probably get more selling my Tib to a 16yr old kid then to one of the savvy members of this forum.
