What Digital Camera Do You Have
#12
LIL_TIBY - You into photography? That camera is pretty nice and i wouldnt see why somebody would buy it just to take pictures of birthday partys and holiday events. If so, you have any pics that are worth sharing?
I have a Fuji S5000. I think for the price and what i need it for, it is one of the best (or was one of the best) on the market. 10x optical zoom, 256mb xd card, lots of filters, etc...
I would love to get a digital SLR in the near future. But for now, this camera functions very much like a SLR so, it will be fine.

Double_A I am into photography. I'll have to mosey on through my collection of photos and see if I have anything worthy of sharing. lol But what do you consider worth sharing? smile.gif Actually, if you look at the pet pictures thread in OT on the first page I posted pics of my animals and all those were taken with the canon.
I don't get out too much to just tool around and photograph anymore. Mainly use it for photographing my animals and car events. I'm actually photographing a wedding on Aug 13th. That will be pretty fun. Yeah....it's a very nice camera. I spent a grand on it a few months after it hit the market. Picked it up before a meet and played around with it there. I wanted the Nikon w/ the auto shutter cleaner but just couldn't bring myself to spend that much more for only a few more features.
Your cam is a nice one from what I've heard as well. Happy with it so far? Cameras are much like computers, before you know it they're "outdated". There's already an 8mp version of my camera on the market now. But the human eye can only distinguish up to 5mp (if I'm remembering correctly) so having 6.3 is plenty for me.

ha, I got some cheap-ass 1.3 megapixel wal-mart special shizzle. It works, but I definetely need an upgrade asap. (all the pictures I print are tons of tiny green, blue, or red squares...but they look good on the lcd screen...lol).
btw, I don't think they even sell ANY digicams with less than 3.1 megapixels. haha

Pentax Optio S5n, 5.1MP, 512 MB SD card. I love it. Takes great pictures and movies, has a large LCD screen and it's smaller than a deck of cards.

I love the camera i have. I searched for along time before i decided. The one you have is the one I wanted to soon as it came out.
I think yours was the first digital SLR to hit the market at under $1,000. That was still a little too pricey for me though.
I didnt start this thread, but i think itd be cool for people to post some of their best pictures in here. I mean what good is talking about a camera if we cant see what it can do?
