My dad loves cars and took me car shoping for a month before finding the Tib, was looking at mustangs, but this handling was amazing compared to them plus my grandpa wouldn't let me get the GT, hes against my car, good thing he didn't know what it was when I bought it laugh.gif

Yeah, I went shopping with my dad too. GSX = biggest mistake he ever made. Whenever he wanted to know about it, I showed him the reviews on the non-turbo version Eclipses. First thing I did after I got it was spend about 800 bucks on parts and crank the boost up to 15psi. lol.gif
I saved up another 6500 bucks and found the Tibby with 8k miles on it. I needed something reliable that I would keep for a while, and the Tibby fits that bill so the Salvage Title on it wouldn't matter. 8)

My dad got his Evo RS about 6 months after I got my car and wanted a car faster than mine, he still has his F-350 but usually drives the Evo
I am just hoping those Lotus Elises will drop to 15k or so in a few years because I want one

I got a brand new sunburt yellow Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 SE 6 speed for christmas. It came with a huge red bow on the hood and a big green bow on the roof. I drove a 1997 Tiburon FX 5 speed before my new car. As fast and smooth as the new tiburon is compared to my old RD. I still love my RD to death. However I had to trade my RD into the dealer because it would have been too much money to insure two tiburons and there would be 5 cars in the driveway when there are only 3 people in my family. I loved my RD tiburon so much that I want to sell the kia rio cinco and go buy a 2001 tiburon five speed and drive that. I love my GK tibby too. She is fast and more refined than my RD, but i miss my RD so much. I wish I had both cars so I could drive both.

I got some Craftsman ratcheting wrenches, a Craftsman 151 pc mechanics set, one of those Galileo thermometers, clothes, a neck tie, some other misc tools, a little cash and a gift card to sears.
My favorite gift was the POD. Any guitarists in the house should try one of these. I cannot say enough good things about these. I don't need to carry an amp and cabinet around to gigs anymore. I can just go directly from my POD to the house PA system and then use a in-ear monitor to hear myself with. You can also run directly from it in to your PC and use something like Cakewalk to record with.[/img][/url]

Bah. GT V6s are clunky things. I would never drive anything that weighs over 3000 pounds. The V6 handles like a beached whale. But hey, you have a fresh 100,000 powertrain warranty. Redline that sucker.
