What brings you joy in life?
People say that watching there kids grow is one joy. For me I'm not a father and I'm not in a relationship right now so it can not be either one of those.
I guess if I had to choose something it would be the joy of what the future may bring to me based on the decisions I am making now. Hoping to have that nice house one day and stable job where I can be an important person to either friends or family.
But I am curious as to what brings you all joy? Specifically people who are around my age or older. I'm in my early 20's.

Cultural background brings me joy. It makes me proud.
Most countries (Russia, Germany, Japan, Sudan...etc.) have major historical past events that are regrettable. My country Poland has none. It has nothing to be shamed of, in fact, just the opposite. It has everything to be proud of (Kosciuszko saving George Wasington's life, Copernicus, or Chopin for example). Its ability to survive enormous struggles and oppression without ANY help gives me strength and inspiration. People without culture and pride are never happy.

What brings me joy is my 2 1/2 year old son. He is a mini version of me in EVERY way. 5 years ago, if you asked me if I wanted kids, I would have answered HELL NO! What a dumb-ass I was. Having a kid was one of the few good decisions I have made in my life and hope to be having another one soon.
