Sweet deal I'll keep you guys up to date on the new Nissan gear!
Frozen I have heard nothing but bad reviews on the SE-R, how was yours in comparison to a tib? ( with appropriate mods or bone stock)

Yeah I know, the new SE-R has a bad rap, not because of the performance, but because of reliability issues. Apparently there are some nuts in/near/wherever the TB/intake manifold that shake loose and then get sucked into the engine. Fixed with loctite. There may be other issues but that's the biggest one. The QR25 motor is fantastic for power, but not so great for reliability.
We had no problems with our car though. For a 4-cyl the low end torque was stupid. I would chirp the tires by accident all the time. The ride was stiff, very stiff, almost too stiff. We traded it in for a mazda3 GT (2.3L) and the mazda's ride was so much smoother, but the power just wasn't there.
It's a good car, just a little unrefined for those who want finesse. Still a better ride than my RD2 (not for long).

Cool I was toying with the idea of picking up one but decided not too after I heard the reviews. Always nice to have another opinion
