Well I finally got a day off from work so I went to 01Steve's and modded my car!

Installed Eibach springs and sway bars (front and back). Installed a new o2 sensor... so no more CEL. Only down side is we still can't get the OBX pulleys to stop squealing and my car and on his 02.gif

Over all though I'm happy. Suspension is amazing now. Plus it's nice being completely CEL free. Car feels new again.

It was also nice to finally use the proscan that I bought from matt last week.

Nice Job man!

I did a little tinkering with the short shifter today. tightened and refined a few things with it. Its SOOO much better.

Might try to tackle my timing belt, tensioner, and water-pump this week.

a little brake fluid might help break in the belt...
stops the squeaking anyway

it could be burrs on the pulley's holding the belt from having good contact...

are the edges of the teeth sharp? you might be able to deburr it while its running, to make everything more flat across.

is the belt old? your old pulley's could have been more "sticky" then the new ones; maybe the belt is just worn and kinda slippery...
baby powder might help too, so it grips instead of slips silently...

I'll check the teeth when I go to my car later today. The belts are old so I guess I'll try putting some baby powder.

if belts are old...replacing them will more than likely help

instead of masking the problem

So much work this week.. I had the whole week off and worked on the tib every single day.

Cut a whole new piece for the hatch, removed spare tire and painted a round metal plate which my car computer and amp will sit on. Ran car computer wires. Finished rd2 dash swap. Installed redzman black/red shifter/ebrake boots. Put in my F2 Evolution gauges and door sills. Fixed rear brakes. New windshield wipers. Mounted usb hub in ashtray. Mounted slot load dvd drive vertical in center console. Installed switches for heated leather seats in new RD2 shift surround. All to find out that the motherboard in my car pc is bad and needs to be RMA'ed. 02.gif

Lastly, the car is getting turby skirts, F2 Evolution front bumper, and shark spoiler installed and painted this week. Dropped it off at the shop this morning.

In case anyone didn't know, the tib in my sig has been gone for quite some time, I have a red rd1 now.

Pics will be posted sometime in the next week or two.

So excited!!
