the XP startup screen sure isn't, and isn't that the one you'd be replacing? the 98 ones were all that 16color bs, but i doubt your running win98 as that would just be ghey.

 

because that link he has says so, there aren't many colors in the windows xp boot up. you can't have alot because at that point in time things like oh video drivers are loading so you need something low end. The reason you think there are more is they use that "dotting" technique for shading and your eye just sees more colors.

i kinda like where youre going with those mechanical pictures too. thats a good idea. they do have some exterior body line outlines that might look good on webtech i think. i think whatever it would be i would like it to be recognizeable to the point where a chick would know what it is. wink1.gif

im going to have to do some searching on the internet for cut-away views. that would be tremendously badass.
