Yeah, you can't really compare the Beta to the 4G63. 4G63 has been out longer...more tuned and refined...while the Beta is sort of newer (not new new). And the Beta just plain out sucks. 8)
DSM is the only way to go...but too bad you can't really do that swap with the Tibs and get away with a street legal car. Can't swap different make engines from '97+. So...that means all Tibs are pretty much out.
And people who think DSMs suck...you really have no clue about tuning. I mean, you have to look beyond the 2JZ-GTE and the RB26DETT...and realize that for a forced inducted 4-banger, has better potential in the long run....the long run being that it's lighter than your 6-cylinders, and for a light car, all you need is HP. Of course...that's only if you have a lightweight car, and not a 2500lb turd, and you expect to blow people away with your Honda-like engine. I'm talking about breaking a ton or less.

The 2JZ is a Supra engine and the RB is a skyline engine.

Mitsubishi Galant VR-4s also came with 4G63T engines. Four door grocery getter pushing 300WHP... I've always wanted one... ultimate sleeper. Like Dweet's Elantra except without the pain of an engine swap and trying to make it work. lol.gif
