Anyone know of a website that sells software cheaper than you will find in a store?

Also there any good programs that detect spyware, has a firewall and is an anti-virus program all in one?

Default Ebay Alert Wiseco Pistons!

Computer Associates has a combo for the antivirus and firewall, and I know they have also a spysoftware blockage of somekind, I don't how good it is (I had it in my old LapTop for a year and never got infected, constantly received alerts and preventive internet lock from the firewall, etc, but it could be just luck).
Price was very affordable, like $50 a year or something.

Trend Micro has housecall which will scan for viruses for free through their website. For spyware, try Ad-Aware and Spybot.

I personally use Norton Antivirus which catches viruses prior to infection. It does not work on Spyware. I beleive that Mcafee will catch some spyware, but it has been a while since I used it.

You can set up Spybot and Ad-Aware to scan on schedule (once a week etc) to check for new spyware.

For removing more diffacult spyware, HijackThis is great, but you need to be really computer savy.

Blackice defender -
and lockdown 2000

both are firewall programs with userfriendly interface's lockdown allows you to roll back if your registry has been changed and scans for trojans.

I use:

symantec coprorate AV (they make norton)
my network has an ipcop box firewall
and for spyware - adaware, spybot, spyware blaster(blocks new stuff)

this together will take out just about anything, as long as you update, etc. laugh.gif

edit: nothing that I've found yet really does a good job on all fronts, notron nis trys kinda hard to but well... I freaking hate it!!! the firewall is way too restrictive and is really annoying, the program itself is a resource hog, and it doesn't do very good on spyware.
