I don't get the whole Papal thing. Biblically, God didn't want Kings. The current Pope is practically a King ruling over the people of God, interpreting, making decisions, hell, they even made their own country within a country so they could be different. I'll let others believe what they want, but I can't figure out this whole Pope ordeal. It's as unbiblical as most modern day churches.

The catholic church is so screwed up, I doubt they will ever be able to fix it regardless who the Pope is.

They should have gone with a technically gay woman who was once a man and is also a converted Muslim. Just to shake things up a bit.
