The $6.3T figure doesn't include Dubya's "emergency war spending". Pretty much all political charts and graphs on the interwebnets is biased one way or the other based on who created it. It's gotten to the point where the interwebnets contains only lies and damn lies.

Bush added roughly 5 billion in debt which, given inflation, is still 5.5 billion at worst.

Obama will have spent that much and then some by the time polls open. Seriously, there is no defending that fact.

At this point its not about who you "like", all of the decent candidates are gone. It's more about "who scares me less."

At least with Romney the dumbass crap he wants to pass will never fly.

Assuming those numbers are "facts" and not just something you heard on a conservative news program or read on a website.

That be trillions not billion. And Bush also gave US the unfunded Medicaid Prescription program. A great socialist gift to the drug companies.

I'm not afraid of my candidate. He's the only one who makes sense and has an actual plan.

Yeah, Trillion. You still get the idea.

And yes the numbers (despite incorrect decimal place on my part) are factual, there's a indisputable real number that the actual national dept amount to, believe it or not. Bush did his part in racking up bills we can't possibly pay and was criticized quite firmly for it from both sides. Obama inherited a 10 TRILLION dollar debt, and instead of tightening the counties belt, they just spent us further into the hole. And for some reason he praised by the left for his inability to maintain a reasonable budget..... wait. We don't even have a budget! It's the political equivalent of handing a 5 year old a black card in the middle of a Sweet Factory. A most frightening scenario, yet he still doesn't scare you? His affiliations throughout the years, the constant position "evolution"; hell, depending on which decade his self-approved literature can't even decided on a solidified history. Really, do some, nay, ANY research and the man will scare the hell out of you. I almost voted for him over McCain on the grounds of his flip-floppage and near political defection. Obama can't even tell you with written text what he was up to a decade ago.

For the record, NPR and CNN are hardly conservative radio.

For the better part of the last decade Fox news and the white-house fed conservative hosts wouldn't dare quite those numbers. It's a well documented trail.

Oh I'm scared. I have liquidated 2/3s of my stock. Invested the rest in some sort of commodity in various ways. The rest I can't do anything about.

Neither of the front running candidates has a plan to get our country out off debt. And the ideas they do again hit at the average person and not the corporations that own them.

Our government is corrupted from to to bottom. Half of the laws need thrown out and half the federal, state and local bureaucracies need to be eliminated; at least in my state. Republican or Democrat no difference. Military needs to come home, especially out of Europe.

I'm all for Ron Paul, but unfortunately it is over, at least on this arm of the Milky Way Galaxy in this dimension it is. It's going to be Mitt Romney Vs. Barack Obama come November. After a lot of babbling between families and friends at dinner tables all over America and the world, Obama will win. Period. Done. That was easy.

Never understood this really, there are a sh*t ton of service members who love overseas deployments and the ability to reach out and touch someone in a hurry has prevented a whole lot of attacks on us that's like saying the police need to stay in the station and only respond when they are needed

Seeing the world is a huge reason people enlist
