Since introductions are about as off topic as they come...
And there's no "Introductions" forum, I'll just say hi here.
I'm a 22 year old chick with a love for driving. I put 80k miles on my first car, a 1993 Buick Skylark, in 3 years. After running that poor car to 200k+ (my mom put the other 120k on it), I found myself finally able to purchase a new car. I had drooled over the Tib for 3 years.
March 1st, I drove off the lot of Rodgers Hyundai with a shiney new black Tiburon. I then took the car on it's first trip and drove to Winston-Salem, NC, and got snowed on on my way back the following Sunday. Two weekends later, I put more than 1000 miles by driving to Asheville, NC, then Folley Beach, SC, then back to Asheville, then coming home to Knoxville.
So, to end my introduction, I'll leave you with a waves and skitter off to my virtual home on LiveJournal.
If you need to yell at me, just call me Sno.
*waves and runs*

alright... I had to log into these forums to see what everyone was telling me about. What are you doing in Knoxville? Going to school? Got any pictures of your car/yourself?

Nice to be so warmly welcomed. ^^;;
To answer a few questions: I'm not in school. I do have pic of my car, taken when my friends were asking me about it ("You bought a what? oO;"), so I made a tour. Tour can be seen here. Only pics of me are on my Side7 gallery biograpy.
My mom was the very proud owner of the first Hyundai ever bought in Knoxville: a blue 86(?) Excel. We put over 100k on that little car, back when they weren't known for their reliability, then our neighbors (who we sold the car to when we bought the Skylark) put at least another 100k on it. About the only problem we had was she had to replace the clutch and after 120k the rings started going bad.
Our philosophy: drive it till it falls apart.
I take pride in the fact that I was up in Pigeon Forge, and the owner of this... 2000-something gold Mustang with a body kit and God knows what else couldn't take his eyes off my car... Only looking in shocked, gaping awe. It was great. smile.gif
