It seems there is a divided faction regarding firearms so i wanted to bring about a simple question, Why do guns scare you, if they do. If they dont why dont they? If its not the gun then what part of the topic of firearms gets people very riled up?

Why do guns scare you, if they do. ---- They don't.
If they dont why dont they? ---- I have been taught to respect them, to not point them at anyone or myself, and to treat every one as if it's loaded.

 

Guns dont scare me, its the morons that hold guns that scare me. The people with bad intentions are the problem when it comes to guns. I am all for homeowners and persons in the street defending themselves with guns or whatever they can get there hands on.

 

They don't scare me as long as I can have one too. The prospect of criminals running around with them and me not being able to have one does scare me.

 

Nope. Been shooting since I was a kid at Summer camp. I hold both NRA Expert and Army Expert certificates. I am however, pro gun control. Just because I can handle a gun doesn't mean any moron with a pulse can.

 

Don't scare me one bit, it's the person using it. Being educated on their use and licensed to carry one makes me OK with a person having one.

 

They don't scare me. What scares me is the people that have them.
