When at a stop, what RPM do I need to be at to be able to dump it? Like 5k or so? I need to work on my starts....

Find out where you get the best launch without you tires slipping.
It will varry depending on things like tire quality and even suspension.
You need to find this one out on your own.

I would not reccomend "dumping" the clutch. I would reccomend a 3000 RPM clutch slip.

yes.. like what the guy above me just said...Oh .. Random.. that's what I do everytime.. when I dump the clutch even at 3000 RPM, I couldn't get any grip on tires..(Maybe beacuse my tires are stock...) anywho...like Random said..It's the best way to launch Tibs..Dumping clutch is for civics..Believe me I know...

If your on a drag strip, line up on the darkest patches of rubber, rev to 3000 when the last yellow lights up hammer the gas and drop the clutch. If you get tire hop then try a lower rpm.
