wow 57 bucks for a glorified sticker!
As far as the "best" are you just looking for looks or strength and performance?

I'm in the same boat looking for pins with the same hood that you have. I'd really like to get the barrel lock ones, but don't know if they'd work with the curviness of our hoods. I'd want to put them on the outside of the "humps", in the corners. I haven't looked closely at these kinds yet. What do you think?

^^ i have them right now and dont really like them. they look nice on the hood but are kinda weak. i still think i will keep them on just because they dont stick up all ricer style.(main reason i bought them)

so tiburonsrule, was installation easy? As in, lining everything up to connect correctly? Standard hood pins seem like they'd be easy to line up post to hole, but these seem more complicated.
The hood that Brian and I have has a decent latch, just looking for a little backup security while driving.

they werent to bad. i did have a little trouble on one side but just had to drill the hole a little bigger in the radiator support so i could move the post a little bit. the way i did them was put in the posts(raised up so they touched the hood when it shut) and then put some paint on the tops of them and closed the hood so it marked the drill points. just remember to drill slow so that you dont crask or splinter your hood.

No no no guys!
If you are going to get LOCKING hoodpins, you need to get the new style with the pivoting head so it matches up with the angle of the hood.
TRUST me on this.
