Those guys are morons, since when does a generation of car have to change only when the chassis changes?
Look at the Corvettes, they are on what, the 6th or 7th generation? Whatever. A significant amount of changes between years of a car is a generation switch to me.
Let them live in their own little world. Those guys are more busy being worried about what generation they are than the situation.

Sorry, even in Korea, they changed the name, so they changed the gen. HYUNDAI officially may not recognize them as different, but 90% of everyone else does.
As for the argument that the FL should be the 4th gen then, nope. There's VERY minor changes.
Headlights, which can be swapped, front bumper, which can be swapped, and gills/taillights that can be swapped.
That's a minor update.
RD1 - RD2 = Hood, headlights, front bumper, emissions (vapor cannister), 1.8L to 2.0 (Yes, plenty of the RD1's have 2.0's in them), interior is VERY different, but swappable mostly, rear bumper, rear hatch, ect.

I have a GRRRREEEAAAT idea, it's kinda shady, but so is SS so f*ck em...
Every store you go to, make it a point to go to the magazine aisle and find Super Streets latest issue. Take the front one (or couple) and turn it around. This way people cant buy them, and its not too shady because your not damaging the product your just taking a look at the magazine and being careless about how you put it back on the shelf.
Even better? put a couple competing magazines in front of the issues after you turn the super streets around. this way the associate who is supposed to make sure the magazines all look nice wont think anything of it.
I tried it out at my walmart and they havent sold one issue of super street in the last 6 days! WoOoT!
