No, the Z31 is the (300ZX 84-89 US) or (Fairlady Z 83-88 in Japan).
The Z32 is the (300ZX 90-96 US) (Fairlady Z 89-99 in Japan).
The Z33 is the (350Z US) or (Fairlady Z in Japan).

As you can see, Japan always got the Z a year before us, and the Z32 stopped being imported here in 96, but continued to be made oversees until 99. The reason was that no one here in the US could afford, or wanted to buy a 40k supercar at the time when a Corvette/Camaro SS/etc............

Exactly right Jon. I can't believe you used Z32 and corvette/camaro in the same sentence. Right now there would be a group of teenage z32 owners flaming your ass, but they're not intelligent enough to find this forum.

i own a z32, and ya i dont visit 3zc.com very much they are a lot better than tt.net though. People on both forums know their shit but tt.net has a lot of people that try to be aholes cause they think it makes them cool. but the comment about the z33 owners thinking their Z is the best is true besides the people that own them in my Z car club. Becuase they actually know the heritage and respect everyon else. I wave at every z31 and z32 i see but never z33 just because of most of them being ignorant. but i would have to say z32 > * smile.gif
but from all the old ones id have to say i LOVE 240z's wow .

I agree ,this site has less bull than all others,...I mean that trash talk over cars is really stupid!! and immature,a car is a car and thats it,its all about learning bout what ya own and being able to do things on your own with help from others here in the same positions you are.
I'm 37 yrs old and don't care who I can learn from. I've owned hondas, camaros, etc(too many to list) and the learning never stops..Always a great place to spend some time reading and getting info here!
ps Had a guy snicker at my tib the other day..said "waste of money"..when he drives an acura rsx and lives at home 21yrs old..... whatever!!!..... I left home at 15,have 4 cars 2.5 acres nicely filled home, but who cares...some people think what they drive makes em special? Just have fun fixing cars and f@@@ all the haters give respect...walked up to a teenager in a mitsu the other day,he did awesome work on his car (Dimir fr hfx) NFC car. like him , everyone here gets my respect.!!! hail.gif

I own 2 Z's a 1991 300zx (Z32), and a 1974 260z. And the reason that those guys are dicks is because people ask questions without searching for the awnser i have been a member of both 300zxclub.com and twinturbo.net and i can honestly say ive never had to ask a question cause ive just searched for it on the site and i found the awnser, plus most of those guys have been around for a long ass time and they are sick of anwering the same question hundreds of times, we'll see how the guys on here get in a few years when a noobie ask how to paint his spark plug cover or some stupid shit like that.

But i am very partial to my Z's so ill probably catch some shit on here for defending my fellow Z owners...oh well

I dare you to post that you have a Tiburon on that forum and we'll see if you still think there are some intelligent people on there. Do a search for Hyundai on the site and you'll see some of the stuff I've replied to. Don't get me wrong there are some very smart people on that site. They just get overshadowed by the jackasses because the moderators don't moderate the site. I honestly don't think that Nissan would be proud to have their product mentioned on that site.

RDT totally dominates. It has taught me so much about the Tibby and about respecting other tibby owners as well. I used to be bothered by other people driving the same car as me mad.gif but now I realize we are all one big family laugh.gif
go RDT go!
