Absolutely beautiful picture, terrific work! I'd really be interested in how you did it, and the lighting you used. Was that hour spent snapping hundreds of shots, or getting things set up just perfectly?

I wish I had photography skills. You guys inspired me to play with my camera though. This is a long exposure, medium aperature shot.

I should invest in a tripod.

might not be easy but if your taking pics from up on 3rd floor use the railing for balance since you dont have a tripod. i have a tripod somewhere but i have no idea where at

Interesting pic DTN, where did all that blue come from?? laugh.gif You definitely need a tripod, and looks like a higher quality camera. The darker the original picture is and the longer the exposure, the more the imperfections in the camera will show up (mainly noise and other discolorations, but also pixelation and light bleed from bright spots).

I just thought it was an amazing effect and I didn't think my camera could do that. My 12,000K HIDs show up blue, but not that saturated to the eye. I definately need a tripod to get better pictures. It was the best picture I could get out of 12 with different shots and exposures. I stablized the camera on a rail, but with a long exposure most of them came out with trails from my pulse.

I think I'd like to try getting that shot again with no blurryness in the background and vivid color/clarity on the grass

i like all three pictures. Im hoping one of these days to go and get one of those professional or at least really nice cameras... that water shot is really pretty as is the one with the red yellow and blue bags... the blue HIDs i think would look really nice dtn if you could get a high shot like that but from somewheres parked on the grass like you suggested. Or maybe you could get a nice shot from really high up like some place like the capitol building. i was there the other day and the view is amazing. lemme go see if i can find some of my pics...

Great job guys! fing02.gif
I hope im that good some day

I really liked the 3 colored tumblers. That was a very cool shot.

DTN: I'm jealous of you as there is no snow on the ground were you are...
