PCH was closed @ Decker Canyon due to a single car accident. A Ferrari Enzo doing in excess of 150 MPH lost control and took out a telephone pole.
The Enzo seperated into 2 pieces, the engine/trans (back half) ended up 250 YARDS from the initial impact site. The 2 occupants were fine. The doors on the car opened with no problems, and the driver/passenger were NOT treated for injuries.
Yeah, I know, you all want photos, but give it half a day and all the local news stations will have video/photos up. I'll link to em once they get their poop in a group.
I'll say this, seeing the aftermath of the "accident"....I'm seriously impressed the that driver passenger walked away without a scratch, and that those goofy enzo doors opened with no problem after the impact/seperation/beating the vehicle took.

I guess theres other reasons, other than Performance, that the car is a million dollars. cool.gif
Sucks though that someone would be that careless with it and destroy it like it was nothing.

Well, to add a "twist" to this tale....
The "driver" apparently fled into the hills. The 2 "suspects" were not IN the car (so they claim). They were just witnesess (so they claim). They Claim the driver left the vehicle after the accident and fled into the hills on foot. LAPD/LA Sherrif's brought in several helocopters to search for the missing driver, but no driver was located (as of yet).
