In my experience, everything effects me about the same. I can't recall any occasion where I felt noticeably different with one alcohol over another.
Lucid is just about THE nastiest liquor I've ever had. We tried it the classic way with cold water over a sugar cube until its cloudy and all that. DISGUSTING. I will never try absinthe again.
