Official Military Branch Thread HOOAAAH!
This has been tried before, but I think their execution sucked. Mine's may not be much greater, but I'm going for it anyway.
So, go for it! Rep yo crew! Lets see where you've been stationed, where you've toured and how long you've been in/active/reserve/guard. Encourage the ribbing and lets hear the rumors, we all know each branch plays a special role, and without all of us the U.S. wouldn't have the best military on the planet. We ALL have an integral part, so don't get all sensitive, and crybaby over the jokes! As for myself:
Six years active duty
U.S. Air Force! E-5/SSgt
3D153
Tech School @ Keesler and Ft. Gordon
Stationed at Eglin
Deployed to Qayyarah West in support OIF in '09
Now deployed @ Camp Arifjan in support of OND and OEF (Patriot system stuff)
And NO! I haven't forgotten other country military! If you're from another country and in the military, please post up! Let us know you're proud!

DOD Civilian working for the Army. My mom was in the Army and retired after 21 years at LTC. I was in the USAF Auxiliary - Civil Air Patrol for quite a few years, but got too tall to actually be in the service.

Too tall? To fly, you mean? I'll edit the poll to have DoD Civilian, since you guys are an integral apart of the big picture of the U.S. military.

Sure! Just click 'Other' if you feel the need too. So, I need more information on this... US Air Force Cadets are in school. How does it work with Australia?

The AAFC is a seperate organisation that people just come and join; it is affiliated with the Australian Defence Force, but there are some pretty amazingly strict laws against child soldiers and so on.
Some squadrons parade at high schools, but not when the school is open for classes.
