Im planning on puttin a nos system in my car eventually but i am wondering what states it is legal in...also what are the usual punishments if your pulled over and they see you have it

I believe in VA, its not illegal to have as long as you dont drive on public roads with it. If you are caught with it they will tow your car away.. I was also told that if you show up to nopi in va with a car with nos and its not being pulled on a trailer they will tow it also.

But that is just what i heard. laugh.gif

but they should open your hood to see that you have Nitros. And not everyone will notice Nitros system if you have it. ninja.gif

lol is it illegal in Ohio? idk where to look that up at i could just ask the chief of police in cincinnati (VERY good friends with my dad ) lol but thats exactly why im not.

well, I think you can have it as long as the bottle is not hooked up.

im pretty sure thats right. you can only have it hooked up once on the track.

Let's get a few things straight.

NOS is a name brand, Nitrous Oxide Systems.

Calling Nitrous NOS is a definate sign of noobness or ricerhood.

Nitrous may be illegal in some states, and is definately illegal if you are using it for street racing.

So, to answer your questions....

1. NOS is not illegal, it's a company and it is run legally.
