New Savage Rimfires
Just saw these...
MSRP in the mid/high $400's.
Kinda digging that first one. Might have to pick one up in 17HMR. I had one of the old ones, and it shot iight. Trigger kinda sucked, and the stock was complete garbage. Looks like those areas might have been much improved.......

tack rails on a .22? little overboard there. I have a marlin made by savage and the fitment of the stock to the barrel isn't great. At least the pics here they look a bit more quality.

I can understand it, since you can mount a varmint light and a scope for night hunting. It always looks silly having side rails on a bolt action for me though lol and I prefer a scope mounted varmint light so the balance isn't thrown off.
Overall personally I would probably pass and look for something else. My Marlin Model 60 semi-auto .22lr can still group 1" at 150yds after at least 25,000 rounds through it and it's only a $100 gun so I would expect any bolt action rimfire to exceed that.
