Well, if there's one thing I learned to appreciate in the US Army, is the beauty of a Sunrise and Sunset. Often both in the same day, and often for months at a time.
Being back in New Mexico, I am humbled by how beautiful they are here on a regular basis, and I took some pics last night of the sunset to show everyone.
This pic looks soooooo good, it's my new desktop.
Anyways, I'll be taking pics and uploading them now and then to update this thread for folks.
Of course, click on the pic to see it large.

that's beautiful. i always refer to this, reminds me of the sunsets in poland which are very very nice. god i miss that place...
beautiful stuff. the ones over here have been pretty good too. i need to make some hotos of my car during a sunset for the lines on it to really stand out.

I mean c'mon. Name a road in the US that you can drive as fast as you want and look at something better than this:

True, the whole SW is beautiful for this, but I was specificly talking about NM, as this is where I live, and where I'm taking my pictures to post here.
LOL

Yes, New Mexico was once covered in an ocean.
Snakes? Ehh, there are some, but not that many. NM is HIGH desert, not the low stuff like the Mojave Desert. It doesn't get rediculously hot here either, and the winters are nice. It's like 72 outside right now.
