New Korean car in the mix...
So, Kaitlin totalled her Dodge Stratus a few weeks back (some idiot Cobalt driver pulled in front of her). After going back and forth on different cars, it came down to a Jeep Liberty, Chevy Trailblazer, and a Kia Spectra. She decided to get the Kia. Its an 07, with 22,000 miles on it and she got it for 9 grand. We're picking it up later today. So since there's another Korean car in the driveway, this should be fun to do some things to. I already started to look online at different parts and things. I already plan on tinting her windows, blacking out the rear tails, putting a nice system in, an auto starter with alarm, and possibly an intake for now, all within the next week or two, since I have everything now except the intake. Come the spring, I'll get her some nice 17's to throw on. It'll be her daily driver, and shes not much into customizing, but she does want it to look nice. So just a few little things here and there and she should be rolling good.

Its the Spectra Sedan...not the 5.
Yeah, that was a big thing with her as far as choosing the cars. She really wanted to get a SUV but figured Jeep (Chrysler) and Chevy wouldnt be around too much longer.
She really wanted to get a Santa Fe after we looked at them, but there werent any on her price range with the mileage she wanted. Finding something under 10 Grand, with a warranty and very low miles isnt too easy these days. laugh.gif

No, that's a tall order. I don't even think you could have got a Spectra5 for that.
I have a bunch of Kia friends so if you have trouble finding something or need some questions answered I'll ask them about it. There is tons of stuff available for them.

I have a big problem. I just bought a black MKIII Jetta with chrome 17's and limo tint. It's got a stumble at idle that I think sounds like a radical cam and shoots black smoke whenever I run it to it's 8500rpm rev limiter (I raised it to make power but it'll handle it). But the big problem is that today I picked up my kid from daycare a little early on my way home from my job at Best Buy so I drove by to pick my girlfriend up from the high school and I cleared a speed bump without tearing out my oil pan. So, how much more should I cut my stock springs to keep this from happening? I already removed my bump stops. I was so embarassed. No sparks or anything!
