It's my first time changing my tiburon's clock. What does "R" mean? it's the middle button. I'm pressing H and M but nothing is happening. I don't have an owner's manual.

H - Hour
M - Minute
R - Reset

There's something weird with these clocks...on both the tibs I've owned it seems that the buttons only work sometimes. lol. I just try to change it everytime I get in the car, once it finally works I leave it alone forever! The owner of my first blue tib actually got a round mini digital clock and had it velcroed to the dash..lol.

Or you could wait until its 1pm, disconnect the battery, reconnect it and start the car and it should reset the clock to 1 by default.

wow, i thought I was always breaking my clocks...

HAHA, Hyundai and their clocks..

Yea, resetting at 1pm (or 1am if you're a crazy mofo...) is one way to do it. But then if you ahve to reset the ECU again (by disconnecting battery) you are screwed for time. I just use the headunit clock.

Do RD2 owner's have the same problem with their clocks?

I used to think it was just my clock too, until I had it happen on my other tib too.

I've always wanted to make a Gripe about it...just never did. lol.

Moral of the story is if Hyundai ever starts making clocks...don't buy one!

My clock buttons have never failed me. Your problems are because you bastards have fat fingures. nana.gif

you dont push the buttons with your fingers moron. wink1.gif

the problem is that there is some kind of electrical component right under the lcd, and it heats up the thing until it breaks.

LOL I've always used my fingures with a bit of pressure. You guys have a hard time with toothpicks and pencils and I can use my fingures, so no problems for me. fing02.gif
