Yeah, the refresh install will work, but performance and reliability wise I would do a clean install as soon as you have the means to.

Picture it like this...your check engine light comes one, CEL pulls a misfire code. You reset the ECU and the CEL doesnt come back, so you assume it's fixed....nah, you need to check it out and fix it or else something major could happen.

 

if you have enough free space on your HD, you could also re-partition it so that the free space turns into a different letter drive (e.g. D: drive)

once you do that, you could install a fresh copy of Windows XP onto the newly partitioned drive (e.g. D: drive)

you could partition your hard drives using a program such as Partition Magic

 

I'm back!

It was being a little wierd for a while, and the internet was a pain to get back up, but everything seems cool now. I'm just spending the day downloading the million updates from Microsoft. lmao.gif
