NCAA basketball
well, we dont have a dedicated thread for this yet, so.....
we are pretty far into the season and only about a month away from the big dance. my terps look like they might be starting to turn around after pretty commanding wins against duke and gtech the past two games. i just hope they can keep it up.
so, who are you guys pulling for?
*if you are posting just to say how crappy basketball is, dont.*

Basketball is more boring than Daytime TV doode.
MY GOD! After 90 minutes of running back and forth down the court, and putting the ball directly in the basket, team A beat Team B by ONE POINT!
Really doode, how hard is the game if you score by 1's, 2's and 3's and they AVERAGE over 100 points per game?
Ugh.
Sorry.
I hate Basketball.

I don't know, I mean it's like a battle out there. I like the NBA game better than college, every 24 seconds there is a battle between 10 of the best players in the world. A lot of my friends are like you though, they won't watch until the 4th quarter because that's when "everything happens." But it's interesting to see someone get blocked in the 2nd quarter then make an adjustment and have the shot work against the same guy in the 4th. For my money the Heat/Lakers game on Christmas might have been the best sporting event of 2004.
I'm not trying to tell you that you should like basketball, but why I do.

NBA is ridiculous to watch. There is not much suspense. Almost all of the players will hit a shot if they are left open from 20'. In college, you have the guys that are playing for the game, not the money. It is more interesting to watch because there is a percentage of falibility that goes with it. As far as the NBA, go Pistons. The Heat/Lakers game was fun to watch because it was a battle of the Pistons' biaches.
