Damn, this is one wicked thingy. I'd like something like that overhere. Instead my tiby has to take all of the weather beating plus dust (my neighbourhood is currently a large building spot).

I like the one in FF3.
they definately need to get those here. People with trucks and SUV's can't park worth a shit, and end up denting my car, or parking so close I can't open the door.

We had something like that here in Atlantic City for a while. It was outdoors though and was more like a looped ferriswheel. You paid to park your car on one of the pads and after you got out and got your card, it would raise the car up and bring another pad into place. I think it was a good three stories high and could hold 20 some cars in the space 4 would take up. Great idea, except it was exposed to the rather harsh elements of being only a block from the Atlantic Ocean. I think it survived about three years before it had to be scrapped.
What I want to know, I can see the moving "sled" that slides under your car to lift it up and move it around.. what is it touching under your car?
And Jon, I know how you feel. I was over at the BMW dealer yesterday picking up the remaining parts I need to replace everything but the radiator on my cooling system. When I came out, I was boxed in by two SAVs.. an X3 and an X5 and had to wait till one of them left before I could climb into my car.. and my Ti is one of the smallest BMWs

On the sled there about 8 bars (
2 for each wheel. hmm how do I explain this....
When the slider is under your car
The bars that are on the slider fold to the side and places itself next to the wheels
The bars have a rolling thingy on them, so when the two bars are are pressed togetherr the car lifts up..
Don't know if you'll get it though sad.gif
................
................
wheel here
................
................
'|' are the bars
So when the space bewteen them gets shorter (les dots) it graps the wheel
With the rolling things on the bars it will not hard my rims smile.gif
The system knows where to put them with sensors allover the place
I don't like the FF3 thing, makes my baby sick tongue.gif
And optimoprime
Thanks man! laugh.gif
