Didn't want to create a new thread about one movie. You guys seen the new trailer for Casino Royale? The new James Bond movie? Supposedly it's not the "new" James Bond, but it takes place before Dr. No. It takes place before James Bond actually got his license to kill. I hate this crap because Q and M are in Pierce Brosnan movies yet the movie takes place like 40 years before them, I'm confused... or does it? Then it's another sellout because it's nothing but boxing and fighting... another Transporter.
I watched an interview with the crew and the guy said this movie is probably the Bond that was supposed to be in the first place.
Only reason I'm going to see it is because I love bond. My favorite movie of all time is Goldeneye. After roughly 9 years of anticipating Pierce Brosnan as Bond (born to be bond) the intro shot of the back of his head really hooked me. I love everything with that movie including the F355 Berlinetta replica.
This Casino Royale is supposed to be produced by the same guy who produced Goldeneye. The other three Brosnan movies were jokes compared to Goldeneye, simply unrealistic and overly done. This should be interesting this November.
Here's the trailer medium quicktime: Casino Royale Trailer

I want to a see a movie with an Awesome car chase. The main car has to be a Hyundai.. like the Sonata or something. A car chase like Ronin. They used a Peugeot 406, why not a Sonata?

I saw Superman last night. It was pretty damn good. The guy who played superman played Christopher Reeves motions really well. Two thumbs up.

Man, I started reading this thread and was like "wtf? Did I miss something?"
I'm interested in seeing Superman now, in the beginning I didn't think it was going to be that great. Kinda like King Kong, you know the story already so what's the point. But all the reviews have been "super". I also want to see Pirates of the Caribbean, but I don't think it will be as good as the first. KR, I agree with you on the chase. The one in the original Transporter was pretty good until the end. I'd like to see any chase that could capture the excitement of that clip of the M3 racing on the Ring

I'm tired of these cg chases like Fast and the Furious. Bring back the good old days when it used to take 57 of the same car to film a good chase scene.

Has anyone seen "Click" yet? It did awesome on opening day but none of the critics liked it. i just hope Sandler gets back into his old comedies instead of trying to be serious

Cool, I just read that if Superman makes back $260 mill, then they'll go ahead and make another. I hope so. I was already excited about the next one right after seeing it. So go give em their $260 mill everyone. lmao.gif

If they make more Superman movies, they need to stick with the comic book style and have some real villians....kind of like the Batman and Spiderman movies. As of to date, the only real villian Superman has ever had to deal with from the comics, was Lex Luther. mad.gif
