I have a dream to travel from Michigan to Alaska on a moped. It has been done. Since Korean brands are not that big in the United states (Hyosung, Daelim), I am looking for a Slovenian brand called "Tomos". Older models had Korean engines, but the new ones are done in-house by their company. When I was 16, I had a brand new Honda Spree, it literally was a lemon.

For those who don't know, a moped is 50cc and below, a scooter is above 50cc. They do have performance kits to increase to 70cc.



This guy traveled 11,500 miles straight on a 50 cc moped back in 1978. He currently holds the world record for longest moped ride.
