Yes, but having having the intent to mock/slander and the intent to incite international incident are 2 different things. It's not like he contacted Al Jazeera with the content and demanded it be shown. This was not an act of terrorism

yep, at any point they could've turned off and ignored the video
its not like it was forcefully broadcasted in the middle of them praying or something
THIS IS OFFENSIVE, SO IM GOING TO CONTINUE TO WATCH THE OFFENSIVE VIDEO TO PROVE HOW OFFENSIVE IT IS

They arrested him on a parole violation people. He was on parole, prohibited for going online due to a prior computer-related conviction (didn't hear what for specifically) and he went online to upload the video. Duh? How hard is this to get? Maybe if you're not supposed to be going on the internet you shouldn't pick the most controversial topic in the world to post up online?
They arrested him for a parole violation, not for insulting islam.

Interesting.... What funny is, of the topics I read about yesterday morning and over the weekend, none mentioned parole violations.
The whole thing seems really disjointed.

If you pay attention to the wrong news sources, you will get incomplete information and end up voting Democrat.
In this case, it was mentioned by Neal Boortz during his show. Fist hit on google with well-chosen keywords: http://www.thestar.com/news/world/ar...ole-violations

Salman Rushdie
"Joseph Anton" author Salman Rushdie remembers the moment he learned of Ayatollah Khomeini's fatwa, and also discusses the a**hole behind "Innocence of Muslims."

Stupid.
This statement has no bearing on this thread whatsoever.
Mis-information is not a tactic used solely by democrats.
Fox news is notorious for publishing half-truths and other mis-information, and they are strictly pro-republican (a.k.a. fair and balanced).

Actually, since we both had partial information based on biased sources it completely relevant.
