Lexus Supra Sleeper!
Supra in a Lexus body. All mechanical parts are from Supra Turbo (engine, 6spd transmission(bought new in 1999), differential, etc, etc) with a long list of aftermarket upgrades(RPS single turbo kit w/T-66 ball-bearing and swaine coated exhaust manifold, VPC, GCC, Sparco custom intercooler,RPS carbon clutch, K&N filter, custom dual exhaust system, new headgasket, w/titanium spring retainers and upgraded valve springs, Fluidyne radiator w/electric fans, upgraded aftermarket fuel pump, EGT and Water Temp gages, Eibach springs, Tokiko shocks, huge Brembo brakes up front and supra turbo rears, Cusco front strut tower bar, OZ competition 17x8.5 and 17x10 rims with almost new Yokohama A-032R tires, harness bar w/camera mount, rear spoiler). All upgrades are done by Performance Factory NYC. This car is a "sleeper." It is unique, fast and reliable. G-tech pro registers 425 wheel HP @ 16psi which translates to well over 500 HP at the crank Over 30K invested in upgrades alone. 100% mechanically. The engine has around 70K miles on it and the tranny was new in 99. Body is in good shape but the rear bumper cover needs to be replaced or repainted.

Well, the hole point of the reserve price is to see what you could have got if you were willing to sell for less. In that case, I'd say that a 4th gen Supra is still worth about $14k, and with teh extra work, I wouldn't be willing to sell for a lot less, either. (At least not unless there were some serious problems with it. smile.gif )
In any case, putting the Supra driveline into a Lexus isn't all that hard to do. They're both really similar in design. The Lexus IS 300 and the GS300 already share the same base motor (2JZ-GE) so it's easy from that point. Just remember, the Lexus body is likely heavier than the stock Supra body, so it's not going to be as fast as the same engine/transmission etc. in the original Supra.
In any eveny, I'd bet THAT would take a Tib.
