^^^^ yeah i know. i'm going to still talk to a lawyer and see whats up.
i still want to go in front of the judge because the cop might not even show up for it and the charges will get dropped.

Im pretty sure you have to go to court are there will be a warrant for your arrest. If the cop doesnt show, the case would be rescheduled, the charges wont be dropped. Criminal cases are not like DMV cases. At least this is what happens in NY based upon my experience.
