how emission laws are so strict becuase of pollution yadyada
performance headers in particular
but it is okay to turbo a car 2x its original designed speed and drive on public roadways

don't forget those turbo guys are either taking their stuff off before emissions which is a big hassle, or they are paying for it with high maintenance, repairs, and high octane. as far as the WRX's, Lancers, Mazdas and the other factory turbocharged cars, that little turbine also boosts their insurance!
so N/A isn't all bad. if you have a code, that means the car doesn't like it, which means the state doesn't like it. either way, the car should be code-free. they won't bother you if it is.
