I feel like I am gettin ripped a new one when i tell people i pay $3100 a year for full coverage on my 2000 tib with 3 tickets. Im 20 years old and two of them occured before i was 18 then the last one while i was 18. so ive gone almost two years with out any. My insurance lady says two tickets should drop and my payment should drop about $800 in July when i renew my policy for the next year. so 2300 for full coverage still seems steep. My car insurance is through my health insurance company as well. So Im thinking it might be possible that I could pay less if i go through progressive or gieco or some company like that... what yall think. and who else is getting torn a new one.

Progressive and Gieco aill most likely be a little cheaper. Do not go through AIG they are expensive, I had them until I became a Allstate insurance agent. Also if the those tickets come then you should see a nice decrease in the amount. When do you turn 21? Because that is the age when you will save a lot of money, Big decrease when you turn 21 and a little one when you turn 25. Other then that stay on your no ticket streak and you should be good.

ok....i renew my policy in july-drops about 800 she said... i turn 21 in november. so would i see another drop in july when i renew my policy NEXT year? or will i get a drop immediatly?

When you turn 21 you might be able to call your agent and ask them to update you. With Allstate we can update an operator when they turn 21 so that the discount can go into effect in the middle of a policy other then that it would not go into effect until your renewal. You will probably see some hundreds come off with turning 21.

3100 or 2300 is still very high payments for 6 months, likely you have heatlh insurance with them...Mine is 1500 for 6 months and thats with my wifes car and rental insuurance on it...I love USAA

Mass and Jersey both have the highest rates in the country due to how the requirements they have on policies and coverage. We only recently got Gieco in here..
at 35 with no tickets over the last ten years.. AND a commercial driver's license..(I am better than all of you.. I is a proffessional!) I pay 105 a month for full coverage on my tib

NJ is soo damn expensive..for my tib under my dad's policy, it costs $1200 to cover for 6 months. No comprehensive either..just collision. Ive had no tickets (knock on wood) nada. Its too much. Luckily, Ill be getting a license from another state and my dads going to be living there so Ill be under his policy and itll be soo much cheaper. Damn NJ lol.
Consider yourself lucky for paying so little!
