Aight, I need to get new insurance my parents are kicking me off of there Coverage.

I got 2 Careless Driving and a speeding all with in a year.

I got a quote from Progressive they want $283 a month for Liability.

Im waitng on Allstate for the quote.

And Geico wont give me a quote, because Im a Minor.

So my Question is what should be a good Insurance company for me?

I don't know if it would be the same for you, but I got my insurance through AAA. It was the cheapest I could find in my state.

$283 a month for liability?!? Sometimes it is good to be older and wiser.. no points on my license at 35 equals $105 a month for full coverage... here in the over populated Northeast too.

I thinkyou need to reconsider how you drive... seriously.

Check out American National Insurrance. They have pretty good rates. Can also get you homeowners and renters insurrance as well.

QUOTE (kb5133 @ Apr 1 2006, 08:56 PM)

me and kb5133 have pretty much no say...

in Massachusetts, we are the only state (true statement [except maybe rhode island, and thats it]) that doesn't have nationwide insurance companys. the insurance is run by the state, making it a huge monopoly... which, in return, makes it massively expensive to insure a vehicle here

allstate, geico, statefarm, and all those other ones aren't allowed.

MASS BLOWS!!!!

with your driving record you are going to pay out the ARSE, my parents did the same thing to me and kicked me off their insurance when I was 16....my insurance for just liability was like $300 a month until I got into my 20's...once my driving record cleared up and I got past 25 my insurance dropped drastically...all these guys telling you how much they pay probablly don't have bad driving records...it will drop eventually with no tickets and time...good luck with it all...

Im with USAA, that only insures military, retired, and family of military and I am paying 300 a month for 2 cars and with mine being in a accident a month before my new policy started. I would say go with Progessive they are real good, I had them before. Dont go with Geico cause they will drop you like a bad habit...they did me cause my wife who's car was not on the policy, got a speeding ticket
