Get this.... I just did a quote through Geico. $444/month. :angry2:
WTF is the deal? That's for one car! I was paying $192/month for two cars at Farm Bureau. I just don't get it.... These online Insurance companies that claim they can save you SOOOOO much money are more expensive than any policy I have ever been quoted!

Ha, I went on my own and it was $427.xx a month! Now it's just over $200, cause I went back in with the parents. Not fair man. It's absolutely ridiculous here in Ontario.

For us guys, the age in which insurance usually goes down is 25 (for the ladies, it's 20), depending on your driving record and whether you are married or not. Nowadays, insurance companys are starting to look at credit and how long you've been with an insurance company more so now then when I was younger. It's more important then ever to "walk the straight and narrow" if you want to get good insurance rates.

Swift, I hate NJ insurance. For my Tib, it's $389 a MONTH. That includes collision, liability, and theft. Keep in mind, I have had NO accidents (well, not to get it to $389 a month) and NO tickets. Not to mention, I have a Viper alarm system and that knocked the price down about $50 a month. We all of a sudden got a raise in insurance back in February. I don't know why. The Tib is now registered under my mom's name when it used to be under mine. Between my 2001 Tib, my mom's 2002 Z28 SS Camaro Convertible, my dad's 2001 Chevy Tracker, and the "beater" 2002 Ford Taurus... we spend a little over $10,000 a year only on CAR INSURANCE.
Wow lol. That's a lot of money but it's really not too surprising considering it is NJ. I have gotten into one small accident but no tickets etc., and I have an alarm as well. My rates went up $1500. It's so stupid..but from what I read the Tib is expensive to insure..so there ya go.
