Today I hit 200,000 km (i'll post some pics later smile.gif )

I've bought my car with 163,200 km, 30th of April 2003.

During this period I did lots of repairs and some mods, here is a list (without maintanance like oil/filter change).

163,200 km - I bought the car
163,300 km - glued windshield mirror to the windshield
163,450 km - replaced wiper linkage
163,500 km - replaced all belts (except of muffler belt that was just tighten to spec)
164,500 km - changed front brake pads
164,700 km - replace back lights switch (for rear gear)
165,000 km - replace spark plugs
168,500 km - reinstalled alarm system (it was badly installed before)
169,000 km - bought steel rims (14x5.5") and winter tires
170,500 km - changed piston rings, engine gaskets, welded exhaust manifld
170,600 km - replaced: right front ball joint, tie rods, stabilizer link
173,200 km - changed right axle assy
173,350 km - changed oil in gear box
173,400 km - replaced front calipers guide rods
174,500 km - new low beam bulbs (Philips Vision Plus H1 +50%)
174,600 km - repair exhaust resonator
175,600 km - ultrasonic injector cleaning
175,700 km - installed gear box security lock (Mul-T-Lock)
175,700 km - muffler repair (welded)
176,200 km - replaced: front rotors, pads, bearings
176,500 km - replaced left outer CV boot
178,400 km - replaced rear bushings in fron suspension, right ball joint
178,500 km - replaced front stabilizer link
179.500 km - replaced flexpipe (exhaust)
179,800 km - emptied catalytic, put perforated tube inside
181,760 km - replaced brake fluid, windshild washer motor
184,000 km - install flow-trough muffler
194,700 km - replaced radiator
196,800 km - repair of a rim (there was a small crack)
197,100 km - replaced stucked guide rods in rear caliper, new rear pads
197,600 km - replaced shocks - performance KYB UltraSR
197,900 km - replaced steering rack boots, rear stabilizer bashings.

do you actually have a notebook where you write down the mileage of everything you do/replace?

i mean, i always keep receipts, but it looks like you write it down on a separate piece of paper

 

yeah, but I bought my 1997 Tib for $7,500, when another Tibs were around $9,000.

PS I know price is HUGE, but we have crappy tax on car import.

Yes, I have a notebook with all repairs.
