Just last week I had to go to work at 4:00AM because of our warehouse shipment and I was driving along and it was raining out, then all of sudden this car with its headlights blinding me comes flying up on my rear end and all I could see was the headlights. It got my nervous because it was 4:00 in the morning so I speed to about 55 in a 35 zone and then I get to my turn and turn left then as I'm going down this road the car is still speeding up and cacthing me and I've now speed up to 70 in a 55 zone I get to the next turn and turn and so does the other car then one more turn and he's still following me and all this time all I see is the headlights. Well I finally get to my job and there is another employee waiting for me in his car and as I pull in all of sudden these little blue and red lights pop up on the top of the car (not the flashing lights though) so I pull into the lot and park and then he shines his spot on my car and comes on his speaker and proceeds to tell me that he didn't know a hyundai tiburon could go 70mph and that he could arrest me for a mistermener and give me a ticket and then he drove off!

Well I got his car number because he PISSED me off by using scare tactic to get me to speed. Well I called the police department and filed a complaint against them for the scare tactic and then the cop on the phone told me that he had the right to do what he did because of my logo decal on the rear window and because my windows were tinted. Thats bull if he wanted me to stop all he had to do was flash his lights .

 

Hmmm....that's not right for him to talk about your car like that. Also, are you POSITIVE it was a cop? Could of been someone with a speaker, and a couple of lights just messin with ya.

 

Yea it was a cop because I jumped out of the car when he started to pull away and I caught the car number and plus there was the other person in the lot which was laughing his a$$ off at me when he got out of his car.

 

That sucks a big fat one man, but hey at least you didn't get a ticket. Where I'm at in the good old commonwealth of virginia they spend too much time pulling us over for stupid crap like illegal taillights, window tint, and cars being too low to the ground, they don't seem to even care about the people down the street selling dope and crap. Just thought I'd vent a little.

 

Yea I guess I was lucky for not getting a ticket I'm sure it would have been a nice big fat one if I had got one eek.gif

heh, heh, yeeeepppp, cameras have been going up all over town where I live in Lynchburg(commonly referred to as lunchbag, and Falwellville). It is next to impossible to get away with anything around here. The big thing being is they are ALL OVER US about little automotive no-no's(taillights, suspension, window tint, neon, etc., etc.).

 

I keep hearing that camera tickets are bull****, and that you can fight them real easily. Hrmmm...
