The CNK situation was probably one of the worst when it came to Hyundai owners getting ripped off and having their money stolen, with no product delivery. I think if a recall....the estimated costs taken from people was somewhere close to the $40,000 figure. I'll have to go back through the archives on HA to see. I still have all old threads.

that happened on HP also. Weren't they in South Africa or somewhere?

Yup....they were in South Africa, hence which made it difficult to press charges and go after them for the money they took from people. They were on HP as well, but most of their posts and stuff were on HA. They were doing Radiator group buys, turbo piston group buys, turbo kits, and a few other things....and soooooo many people sent them their money. I think alot of people just reversed the charges on their credit cards, but alot of people sent in money orders, which meant they were pretty much screwed.
